If you’re a fan of Italian design, you’ll be pleased to know that the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) is once again throwing its full support behind FIND – Design Fair Asia for the 2025 edition. For Italian brands hoping to make a splash in the fast-growing ASEAN market, this is a brilliant opportunity. The ITA has played a key role in bringing together a strong collective of Italian manufacturers, giving them the chance to showcase their craftsmanship on a high-profile stage. Even better, FIND 2025 will open doors for these brands to connect directly with key players across the region. It’s a smart move, especially for those looking to grow their networks, tap into fresh trends, and stay ahead in today’s competitive global design scene. So if you’re curious about what Italy has to offer—this is definitely the pavilion to watch.
The Czech Republic Pavilion is making a stylish return to FIND – and it’s set to impress. Presented by the Czech Trade Promotion Agency, CzechTrade, and supported by the country’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, this year’s showcase shines a spotlight on brands that beautifully reflect the Czech Republic’s deep-rooted design heritage. Even better, the pavilion’s been thoughtfully curated by the Design Center CzechTrade, so you can expect a strong mix of craftsmanship, innovation and timeless aesthetics. There’s a real treat in store across categories like bathroom solutions, furniture, lighting, glass, and artisanal craft. Look out for RAVAK, known for their sleek bathroom designs that blend function and form effortlessly. You’ll also spot MMCITÉ, a leader in award-winning urban furniture, and HUNAT and Sans Souci Lighting, both masters of glass and light. Not to mention Pačinek Glass, bringing a bold yet traditional take on contemporary glassmaking. It’s Czech design at its finest.
The Indonesia Pavilion at FIND is definitely one to watch. It beautifully showcases the country’s dedication to culture, innovation, and sustainability—all wrapped into one inspiring space. What’s more, the pavilion offers a fantastic glimpse into Indonesia’s design potential on the global stage. You’ll find cutting-edge materials on display, alongside a vibrant marketplace and a buzzing design district. Plus, it’s a brilliant way to experience the fresh, forward-thinking spirit that’s shaping Indonesian design right now.
If last year’s summit was anything to go by, the FIND Global Summit 2025 is shaping up to be a must-attend. Following a high-energy 2024 edition—with over 2,600 visits, 65+ brilliant speakers, and 30 engaging sessions—it’s returning once again alongside FIND – Design Fair Asia. And this time, it promises to be even bigger. Expect to see top names in architecture, design, property, and hospitality coming together to explore Southeast Asia’s fast-evolving opportunities. Last year’s line-up included heavyweights from the likes of HBA, Gensler, Snøhetta, Henning Larsen, Ayala Group, Keppel, AIM Architecture, Nobu, WATG, Joyce Wang Studio, Ramboll, Pininfarina, and Olson Kundig. So yes, it’s a serious who’s who of global design.
For 2025, the programme spans three packed days of keynotes, masterclasses, and CPD-accredited seminars. Even better, there’ll be a dedicated segment on lighting design led by the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), plus plenty of timely conversations around the region’s changing design landscape. Definitely one to pop in your calendar!
If you’re after a proper dose of inspiration from our corner of the world, don’t miss the EMERGE section. It’s one of the standout highlights at this year’s showcase, shining a well-deserved spotlight on contemporary Southeast Asian design. This vibrant curation is led by Edwin Low – the brilliant mind behind Supermama – and it’s all about sparking a “Dialogue Through Design”.
This year’s theme invites you to explore connections between people, cultures, materials, and even time itself. And the works? They’re nothing short of thought-provoking. Expect everything from delicate design gestures to bold reinterpretations of the everyday. Across a generous 1,000 sqm, you’ll find around 150 fascinating pieces from top creative talents across the region. It’s a celebration of design that’s as layered as it is fresh – and absolutely worth a wander.
There’s more to FIND – Design Fair Asia than just stunning booths and eye-catching displays. As the region’s design landscape shifts, the fair is doubling down on what really matters – sparking genuine connections and encouraging meaningful partnerships across Southeast Asia. To attract even more international players, it’s teaming up with global media platforms to shine a spotlight on both the event and its exhibitors. On top of that, the VIP Buyer Programme is getting a refresh, offering tailored, pre-arranged meetings that link exhibitors with hand-picked buyers. With support from top industry names such as the DesignSingapore Council (Dsg), Society of Interior Designers Singapore (SIDS), Asia Pacific Space Designers Association (APSDA), Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP), and the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC), FIND is clearly cementing its place as Asia’s design marketplace of choice.
Now here’s something we love to see – a design fair that walks the talk when it comes to sustainability. FIND – Design Fair Asia isn’t just putting on a show; it’s making conscious choices every step of the way. For starters, it’s set at Marina Bay Sands, one of Asia’s most sustainable venues, with fully offset emissions. But it doesn’t stop there.
This year, the fair is stepping things up by ditching unnecessary carpets, switching out 15,000 printed badges for sleek digital passes, and embracing modular booths crafted from upcycled materials or responsibly sourced wood. It’s thoughtful, it’s forward-thinking – and it’s exactly the kind of design event that’s moving the industry in the right direction.
There’s plenty of buzz around Asia-Pacific’s economy for 2025 – and with good reason. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts a 4.4% growth, accounting for 60% of the world’s overall expansion. Given shifting global trade dynamics, it’s no surprise that businesses are eyeing Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and domestic markets as fresh avenues for growth.
This excitement spills over into the interior design and furniture worlds, too. Urbanisation, rising wealth, and a stronger focus on wellness are driving demand like never before. The furniture market is forecasted to climb to US$248.9 billion by 2027, expanding at a steady 8.35% each year (Statista). Meanwhile, the interior design sector is set to grow to US$35.3 billion by 2027 (Mordor Intelligence). It’s clear: if you’re looking to stay ahead of the curve, you’re in the right place, at the right time—Asia’s design moment is now.
Beyond FIND – Design Fair Asia, there’s even more to look forward to as Singapore gears up to celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2025. This milestone makes this year’s Singapore Design Week, running from 11 to 21 September, feel extra special. You can expect the city to be buzzing with energy and creativity, thanks to a carefully curated programme that stretches from Marina Bay right through to the island’s vibrant creative districts.
From captivating nighttime installations to immersive experiences and design-led neighbourhood walks, there’s plenty to explore. What’s lovely is how these celebrations pay tribute to a nation shaped by timeless design values. So whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s a brilliant opportunity to experience Singapore’s design story come to life.
