Nestled in the vibrant Holland Village area, Quincy House by Far East Hospitality is an upscale serviced residence that opened its doors in October 2024. This delightful gem blends style and comfort for families and their furry companions alike. We were lucky enough to be invited for an exclusive 3D2N preview, allowing us to soak in all that this residence has to offer while exploring the lively Holland Village—from its enticing food scene to its bustling shops. Based on our experience, we can assure you that this space will not disappoint!

1. First Impressions

Easiest to Spot

Quincy House Singapore stands out effortlessly against the backdrop of the bustling Holland Village precinct—truly impossible to miss! Entering through the One Holland Village mall walkway link, we were welcomed by our first Instagram-worthy moment. Right in front of Quincy House’s Fitness Room, the mall’s Village Green features a stunning glass installation, ‘Singapore Sun,’ by the renowned American artist Dale Chihuly. Capture a vibrant photo of this piece with Quincy House in the background, setting a cheerful tone for your stay!

The Living Room

On the second level, we found the front desk, open 24 hours—a chic space that quickly became our favourite spot. Picture this: starry sky brass-sheeted ceilings and stylish lounge seating invite you to settle in. The true showstopper? An expansive bookshelf that holds a curated collection of books and art, perfect for losing yourself in. Overlooking the peaceful Village Green garden, this area is graced by the stunning piece of art by Dale Chihuly.

The staff were incredibly courteous—some of the friendliest we encountered during our staycations across the island. They welcomed us with a refreshing fruity Quincy shot, the ideal way to beat the heat, along with an analogue photo capture to kick off our stay on a high note.

The Living Room extends into comfy seating areas and desktop stations for charging your laptop or getting some work done. There’s a well-stocked coffee and tea station, alongside a snack corner offering unlimited complimentary treats. We found ourselves returning multiple times, indulging in the snacks and enjoying the laid-back vibe. If you’re craving fresh air, the Living Room flows out onto an alfresco terrace with a kitchen and event space, overlooking the tranquil Village Green—a perfect spot to unwind at any time of day.

2. Checking Into Our Apartment

We checked into a One-Bedroom Deluxe apartment on the 19th floor, a cosy 473 sqft haven ideal for two. The breathtaking view of Holland Village, framed by expansive windows that flood the space with natural light, immediately captured our attention. The apartment comes thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials expected from a serviced residence, yet its chic design elevates it to the level of a boutique hotel.

The living and dining areas are adorned with contemporary furniture, including a large sofa bed and a dining table for four. A 55-inch LED TV and free local calls complete the space, while the adjoining kitchenette is fully stocked for those who enjoy cooking, featuring appliances like a microwave, rice cooker, and even filtered water on tap.

The en-suite bedroom is spacious and comfortable, boasting a king-sized bed, a 43-inch LED TV, and ample wardrobe space. We particularly loved the air-conditioning control conveniently located next to the bed, making it easy to adjust the temperature throughout the night. The bathroom is a true highlight, showcasing a luxurious rain shower and indulgent Kevin Murphy bath amenities. Additional perks include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and a safe deposit box.

Decorated in neutral tones, the apartment creates a minimalistic yet chic atmosphere that’s child-friendly and open to personal touches. Plus, the absence of full carpeting is a bonus for pet owners. Overall, it’s a delightful space that beautifully marries comfort with style.

While The Living Room and the apartment offer plenty of pampering, the real gem lies at the alfresco pool deck on level 7. Here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the vibrant city below, which truly comes alive at night as the temperatures drop. We ventured to the deck to bask under the starry night sky and admire the twinkling city lights—a truly dreamy escape!

Break a Sweat at the Well-Equipped Fitness Room

If breaking a sweat is on your agenda, the well-equipped gymnasium is the perfect spot. Imagine an indoor gym bathed in sunlight, overlooking a serene garden and stocked with all your workout essentials—a dream come true! The Quincy House Gym offers all that and more, plus stunning views of the ‘Singapore Sun’ installation. And the cherry on top? It’s open 24/7!

Even better, the two are connected by a covered walkway, so if you’re planning a trip to the mall, you can leave your umbrella and sunscreen behind—everything is just a quick, sheltered stroll away!

If you’re keeping an eye on your budget, worry not—Holland Village MRT is just a stone’s throw away from Quincy House. We decided to try the MRT route ourselves, making it to the residence in just a few minutes! From the airport, you can easily take the East-West Line to Buona Vista and switch to the Circle Line, bringing you directly to Holland Village.

For those who don’t mind stretching the budget a bit, Quincy House offers a convenient drive-through for taxis, and the friendly front desk staff are more than happy to book one for you.

Indulge in a Culinary Haven

Prepare to be absolutely spoilt for choice when it comes to dining! Quincy House is nestled in the heart of a vibrant culinary scene, with some of the best options just next door at One Holland Village and even more lining the lively streets around it. Craving a coffee? Head to Tiong Bahru Bakery for a cosy cup, or enjoy a comforting bowl of ramen at IPPUDO. For a sweet treat, don’t miss a scoop from Bird’s of Paradise Gelato Boutique.

On a budget? Swing by Holland Drive Food Centre, where you can savour delicious local favourites in generous portions—all at wallet-friendly prices. Talk about bang for your buck!

A Pampering Paradise for You and Your Pooch

Much-needed pampering is just around the corner—even for your furry friend! There are plenty of spas in the area offering fantastic services at reasonable prices. Plus, One Holland Village mall features dog spas that your little pooch will absolutely adore. It’s a perfect setup for the whole family to indulge in a little luxury!

5. What We Were Up to During Our 3D2N Stay

Day One: Arrival and Relaxation

Arriving at Quincy House at 3 pm, we immediately felt like we were in for a treat. The check-in process was a breeze, and to top it off, we were greeted with a fabulous welcome box from Quincy Qurator. Naturally, we had to dive into the quirky Quincy Lego set—such a fun little distraction! After that, we settled onto the couch for a cozy movie night, soaking in the chill vibes of our stylish unit. It was the perfect way to unwind and kick off our stay.

Day Two: Breakfast and Exploration

Bright and early the next morning, we couldn’t wait to hit up The Living Room for breakfast. We picked up our grab-and-go bags, which included a scrumptious egg and chicken sandwich, sweet corn, and juice—a filling start to our day! Later in the afternoon, we gathered at The Living Room again for a curated tour of Holland Village led by Quincy Qurator. It was an absolute blast! We sipped delicious coffee at Craftsmen, marvelled at the art at TAKSU gallery, and treated ourselves to warabi mochi at Warabi Mochi Kamakura.

Day Two: Shopping and Celebration

After the tour, we strolled through the shopping scene, indulging in a big bowl of ramen to refuel before heading back to the pool for a refreshing dip. As the evening rolled in, we popped some bubbly to celebrate a fantastic day. With the vibrant atmosphere of Holland Village around us, it felt like the perfect end to our adventures.

Day Three: Leisure and Departure

On our final morning, we took it easy. We grabbed our Grab & Go breakfast, featuring a tasty ham and cheese croissant, washed down with some local coffee from Toastbox. It was a lovely way to reflect on our stay. But before we knew it, the time had come to pack up and say goodbye to Quincy House. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming of our next visit!
