On until 14 July 2024, the festival has a mix of activities and events with public, private, and community partners. This year, Go Green SG is also highlighting design-focused experiences, encouraging designers and enthusiasts to team up and shape a greener future for Singapore and beyond. 1. Sustainability at the Shoppes

2. Sustainable Hotel Building Tour at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay

Right in the heart of the central business district and Marina Bay, you’ll find PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore—the nation’s first ‘Garden-in-a-Hotel’. It’s got one of Southeast Asia’s biggest indoor atriums with over 2,400 plants, trees, and shrubs spread across 15,000 square feet. Plus, there’s a 150-square-metre rooftop urban farm growing over 60 types of fruits, veggies, herbs, and edible flowers. If you’re a local resident, check out the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s (URA) guided tour of the Singapore City Gallery. It’s a great way to get an overview of how Singapore’s urban development works and how URA turns plans into reality through long-term, integrated planning. Led by URA volunteers, you’ll learn about the challenges of balancing different land needs and the clever solutions used to create a unique, liveable, and sustainable city.

7. Recycling Right Workshop by The Sustainability Project

Not sure how to start recycling or want to learn how to recycle better? This workshop will teach you recycling skills to share with family and friends! You’ll learn what recycling is, the recycling landscape in Singapore, what happens to waste beyond the blue bin, and get hands-on recycling practice. The workshop also covers recycling principles, dos and don’ts, and includes a booklet with all the info and best practices for setting up a home or office recycling point. It’s suitable for participants with mobility issues.
